Dental implants are used for replacing single or multiple missing teeth as well as to support bridges or dentures.

An implant is a titanium post which is carefully inserted into your jawbone and acts as a tooth root. The titanium post is then left for 3-6 months to heal and fuse with your jawbone in order to provide a solid foundation for a replacement tooth or teeth.

A “connector” is then placed onto the titanium post which holds the replacement custom made tooth in place, giving you back a natural, healthy looking smile.

Most people who are in reasonable general and oral health will be suitable for dental implants. However a full consultation, medical history review, x-rays and a CT scan will be required to determine your suitability.
