Fillings / Inlay and Onlays.
Tooth decay, cracks or chips can usually be treated with a filling if detected early.
A filling is a white composite resin which is placed into the cavity to protect the tooth from bacteria and infection. It is replicated to the tooth so most people won’t even notice it’s there.
Alternatively, we offer inlays and onlays. They provide longer lasting and stronger protection than fillings. With inlays and onlays an impressions of your tooth needs to be taken as they are customised specifically to you, they are then glued to your tooth and provide additional strength.
Inlays and onlays will also be recommended when there is too much damage for a filling to mend.
Prior to any filing, inlay or onlay, we will clean and prepare your tooth so that damaged and decayed areas are removed. Contact us to find out more.
