Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Impacted wisdom teeth can often cause pain and discomfort leading to ulcers, crowded teeth and infection.
While not everyone requires their wisdom teeth to be extracted, a digital x-ray will provide us with the position and location of erupted and un-erupted wisdom teeth and allow us to determine whether they will cause any issues.
Wisdom teeth extraction is a common procedure and can often be performed in the chair under a local anaesthetic. However depending on the positioning of your teeth and results of your x-ray you may be recommended to have your teeth extracted under a general anaesthetic.
After your procedure we will take the time to provide instructions on how to care for the area until it has fully healed. In most instances people do not experience any discomfort or problems.
